Hi all, Wondered if anyone would be able to help. Apple (my ex favourite company) have rejected my app. This time, just a generic comment. We found the user interface of your app is not of sufficient quality to be appropriate for the App Store. Apps that provide a poor user experience are not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines. Specifically, we noticed your app does not take advantage of iOS platform. It would be appropriate to add iOS specific functionality and UI in order to enhance the user experience. I have added a lot of facilities: -Google Maps -School quiz -School podcasts (streaming audio). Other than re-designing the whole app, I have no idea what to do? I'm sorry, you could delete your app from itunes - update it a bit - give it a few days, re-upload it. You can possibly get better luck with another reviewer. I have done this - successfully. David.

I would be inclined not to just resubmit it and hope someone else looks at it. Apple store this info, one or two might make it through but don't tempt fate. Think of your school teacher back in the day giving you corrections. Would you wait a few days and resubmit the same errors hoping they don't get noticed? if you have a few screen shots of the iOS app I'd be happy to take a look and try and offer some advice, I ain't great but willing to help. Did you do it in 1.5 or is it on the old 1.4? Above all, don't give up. Been there buddy, hitting my head against the wall. You'll get this and you'll love Apple again, why? Because they have standards and make great products.

Thanks macapple. I've spent the week rewriting it to 1.5 and have to say I am really pleased with the outcome. The whole thing looks a lot smarter, professional and has more features which use IOS functions. It now has: - map to find different school blocks - school quiz - prospectus - school photos - twitter feed - revision podcasts and quizzes - timetable checker - google docs integration - school info Submitted to apple and now in review so we shall see what the new year brings after apple return.
