How to Change Launch Image

I am familiar with how to create and alter splash screens but I was wondering how to change to default launch image in xcode. I have replaced the default.png in the image folder to my own picture but I am still seeing a black screen as I load the application. Was wondering if there was something I was missing here or a folder Im not looking in. Thanks.

HI @mconn17, if you have set up your splash screen and named your background images (URL or name in Xcode) it should work...maybe redownload your config.txt file and restart Xcode? hope this helps :) Also, when adding files to Xcode project you must drag them into the open Xcode project folders while Xcode is running, drag your files into any of the approprate folders on the left hand side (BT_Images,BT_Sound,BT_Video)

The splash screen has worked before but I was reading that splash screens and the launch image are 2 different things. I just wanted to change the image for the launch image which i was told is a loading issue where a splash screen seems to be completely controlled. Thanks again

Hi @mconn17, You're on the right path! I use the Default.png image as my splash screen instead of the Splash Screen function of Buzztouch. It works great! What I did was delete the original Default.png, then added mine. Then I did a Clean...Build, and all was well! Here's a tutorial on adding files to Xcode : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Adding_Files_To_A_Project_v1.0.pdf Mark
