Maps Default View

Hi all, Just managed to get Google Maps working (yay). I wondered if there is any way to: 1. Set the default view to terrain (so they can see buildings) 2. Increase the default zoom level (the settings in BT are not close enough for me). Thanks.

Hi rarrrr123, Have a look at the Advanced Map Properties for that screen. There should be an option for default zoom level if your map only uses 1 location. Otherwise it will fit the multiple locations as best as it can. There is a setting in there as well to set the terrain type.

I have set the zoom level, but can't seem to see a setting for terrain type.

Look 3 options above where you set the zoom. Default Map Type.

It's not there. But it is a 1.4 app. Is there any way I can do it in 1.4? Code I can change anywhere? I am planning on making a 1.5app when I get time but the 1.4 has all the functions I need for now.

In v1.4 I believe there are options for the end user to select on the bottom of the map screen when it is visible on a simulator or real device.
