The app is a free download. Here is the direct link to the app: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006MYJI88. The app was created as a public service, the MCIA Missing Child Alert App features the Code Amber Alert tickers for the United States and Canada. When an Amber Alert is issued it will appear in this app. When an MCIA senior investigator or other supervisory investigator is working an active case, alerts and information will be posted on this app with information on how you can help. The Missing Children Investigation Agency (MCIA) is a 501(c)3 public benefit nonprofit organization. MCIA is an international network of investigators and former military and law enforcement volunteers who actively investigate instances of missing, abducted, runaway, and kidnapped children as well as instances involving child trafficking and abuse. MCIA does not charge for these investigative services. MCIA works exclusively for the child. The child is our client, not the parents or any other party. Trust me when I say, that after seeing your post, I sent an email to the organization that handles the very same subject in Romania, proposing to build for them an app like this.(for free of course) I think that the added visibility and portability of such an app can only help this great cause.
