Images not displayed in html page

Tool: buzztouch v1.5 Android: v2.2 I have created Custom HTML - Text page. In source code I added: <img src=hotelpark.png /> I copied the image hotelpark.png to: BT_Docs and BT_Images folder. Image is visible in the Eclipse project explorer. Still, when I clear the Eclipse project and run it again the image is not visible. Please advise... Regards, Vladimir

Do you have quotes around the image name in your actual code, or did they just get stripped out by the forum? Mark

Hey Vladimir, I would double check that the file and reference are spelled exactly the same. Sometimes there will be a slight difference and then the image win't load. Then double check that the file is being added to your project correctly. Mark (GoNorthWest) took the time to make a very handy guide on adding files to a project. http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Adding_Files_To_A_Project_v1.0.pdf Maybe just double check that you weren't missing a step? If that is still not working, try adding another image. Maybe there is something wrong with the image itself?

Hey Parker, I tried to create a link to a PDF file like this: <a href=CC2530EM_schematic.pdf>PDF doc</a> When I clicked on the link from the application, the pdf was missing, but it is interesting that it was missing at address http://www.buzztouch.com/$my_app/CC2530EM_schematic.pdf. Could it be that the <img src=hotelpark.png /> expects for the image to be located on the BuzzTouch server instead of the Eclipse Project? Thanks, Vladimir

Oh derp. :P You just made me realize that the Custom HTML screen wasn't finished for v1.5 Android apps. (View the README.txt file in your project download folder for more info on that. ...and Phase 2 has been put on hold while we work on BT Server and the plugin architecture.) It looks like we wee using the old v1.4 code as a starting off point and because it was never finished, it still believes that all files are located on buzztouch servers. Which was the case with v1.4. So you can try and tinker with the code yourself to get this to work, hire a developer to do it for you, or hold your breath and wait for us to finish up BT Server and a few other things before we get back to finishing v.1 for Android. Probably not the options you want to hear and we understand that, but we really feel that by finishing BT Server and everything else, that in the long run everyone will benefit.

@ dkeds66 - No. We have been focused on a redesign of buzztouch and our website. The newer buzztouch format will be what we spend our time on once the new website is rolled out this Thursday. Code fixes/changes for v1.4 and v1.5 apps will be up to you or a programmer you hire, for the most part. We're pretty confident that once we have the newer version of buzztouch up and running most users will want to switch to the newer version.
