Login Screen Plugin...Confused!

Hello, So, I'm trying to set up a login screen for one of my screens, and am having problems getting it to work. I suspect it's just that I don't understand how it's supposed to work...I'll blame it on chemo brain! Here's the scenario - I have a menu list, and one of the list items I want the user to have to log in before they can see the following screen. I added a Login Screen, set up a user, and made it so that the menu item required a login. But, each time I bring up that screen, it says you must log in, but give me no way to do that. I expect two fields - email address and password. But that never shows up. Can somebody show me the way?! Thanks! Mark

Hi Mark, Not sure exactly which plugin you using? There are a couple, I suggest Chris1's plugin. Kristen

Got the same advice from Tony K...I'll be checking that one out. I was using the standard Login Screen Plugin from David Book. Mark

Which ever you use, make sure you have a "login" button somewhere for the user to access the login screen, ie a action that has a target of the login screen. then make sure the login screen settings has a target to go to after it has been completed although this is not major... Kristen

Yeah, one of your menu list items must link to the login plugin. That is where people put in username and password. Bit confusing, would be better if login was asked directly if you want to enter the specific screen.

I think I tried that already, but I'll give it a go again. I'm probably going to switch to Chris' Beautiful Login plugin and see if that works better. Thanks! Mark

Mark, make sure you have a button thats target is the login screen, then it targets back to the menu screen. should work fine.
