Xcode

I do not have a Mac computer, but I do have the IPad2. Can I create the app using Xcode 4 on my iPad?

Hi @kellra, Unfortunately you cannnot. Xcode only runs on a Mac with a version of Mac OS X running (Snow Leopard and Lion are popular versions). You can use your iPad 2 to TEST your apps, but you will need a Mac in order to run Xcode and compile your programs. I solved that problem by picking up an inexpensive Mac mini from Craigslist. Works perfectly for me! Here's a doc that tells you everything you need to have in place for both iOS and Android development : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Things_You_Need_Before_You_Start_Developing_Apps_v1.0.pdf Thanks! Connect to a mac via the web, go to www.macincloud.com , it has everything ready to compile apps for very little money.

Just grab a used MAC on kijiji, craigslist or ebay. You can probably find an Intel based for less than $300.00. Xcode is free to download, and the only extra cost you are looking at is a DEV account with apple which is $99 per year. No extra monthly costs or any crap like that.
