How can i stop my app from connecting to internet

Hi, I am almost done with my first app, but when there is no internet connection it is giving me an error that data needs to be downloaded from the net. i have included all the required stuff in my Xcode folder and nothing is online. should i delete the data file configuration data url? i don't really understand why it is there. by the way i had difficulty entering BT website for the past 2 days here in Dubai, any updates going on ``BT thanks

That file means each time the app opens it calls home to see it there are any changes, So in worst case scenario if BT goes down and it tries to call home (and you haven't changed config data call to your own server or dropbox - search the forum for details) you'll get an error. If you delete this file on a live app I don't believe you can re-instate it without an update but it will stop the app calling home as it were. Navigate to the latest config data and copy and paste it into the config file in xcode project. That make sense? Post back if not.

I had a really similar problems, you can find some discussions in the forum about it.. If you want your application to be offline, then you have to delete all the config data url in the config text file within your xcode project.. My problem was that I created an app where 90% of pages where Custom HTML/Text, that I wanted to be offline.. even deleting the main config data URL (the one for the main app) every page has his own config data URL in the config file, so that didn't solve the problem for me.. If you have a similar problem, I suggest you directly to change all your custom HTML/Text page in HTML Docs. In this case, works offline perfectly! Hope it helps
