RSS Feeds do not scroll

Using the RSS feeds and any RSS feed with a long list will not scroll. I can get it to scroll in emulator 1.6 but that is it. Will not scroll on phones and or emulator on later versions. same problem I see on the forum in a couple places: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=123A872392BF7A631408F69&status=&searchInput=rss&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1 http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=B410CD29B5E8F77D3CEFD37&status=&searchInput=rss&sortColumn=FT.dateStampUTC&sortUpDown=DESC¤tPage=1&doViews=1 Any ideas out there? Anyone find a fix for this? thanks

Did you check the 'prevent scrolling' section of the RSS screen?

I'm new too :) Go to the RSS screen you created (clink the link) and at the bottom of the screen are Advanced List Properties. Then below that is RSS List Layout, Color, open up that entry and there is a setting for Prevent Scrolling If you set it to No maybe that will work.

Hi guys, @ Bigfishtools - It looks like you're using v1.4 so there wont be any Advanced Properties at the bottom of your screens. That is something only available in v1.5 which you can use if you join the Early Adopter program. There is a link to do so in the 'my account' tab. I can only advise that you consider David's opinion in the first link you posted above. I believe the RSS screen for v1.4 is working for the vast majority of users and that the issue most likely has something to do with the feed itself.

I'm also suffering from non-scrolling RSS screens on version 1.4. Any suggestions?

It works under the 1.6 emulator but under a 2.2 emulator or 2.2 device it doesn't scroll. Any thoughts?

I figured it out, you need to rebuild the app. Start over and the 1.5 is available. Thanks for the help guys.

The RSS screen isn't implemented in the android version of 1.5 so I can't make the switch unfortunately.

@bigfish... I have a droid razr, running 2.3.5 and I am having the same issue you were. The RSS feeds in my app are not scrolling. My wife however, has an incridible 2 running 2.3.4 and the RSS feeds are scrolling perfectly fine. When you state that I have to rebuild the app (forgive me, I am new) do you mean that I have to literally re-combined it in the emulator and re-submit it to the market place? I had to get the help from someone else through buzztouch and I would prefer to not have to do all that again. Any reason why it won't scroll on one but it does on the other??
