Are we pricing a development fee or an app store listing fee?

App store licensing fee $0.00 I believe few of any would pay, unless you have some killer features. To create the app. How long will it take. How much time to maintain, update, and improve the app. Who will own the app? Is this a learning experience? Will it lead to other apps? Advertising? So many more questions.

sorry, I thought I was clear, I guess not ;-) It's a free app. As stated on the app store. I meant development charge to my client. It was a learning experience, I learned a lot as far as php is concerned. Hoping it will lead to other apps. No advertising. Time taken - can't really say. I'd guess - and it's a real guess - in the region of 50-60 hours. There will be updates, but I kept it straightforward (the specials is a pdf I just replace each month on the server etc). I will probably be adding, changing stuff as it progresses

Is this your day job? Are you building your brand? Buzztouch is free why? Are you getting a client that'll pay monthly a nice fee? Remember programers are $2 to $200 or more per hour. Are you offering programming or app development. Are you really a marketing service? Is this really just a marketing tool that you've developed? How much can they pay? How much are they willing to pay? Are you trying to land the fish before you set the hook? What is your lost opportunities cost?

That is an excellent link that helps explain why there is no quick & easy answer. And you'll probably begin to understand that the Million dollar app won't be built in a day. I'm working on one :-) Wish me luck.

Hi @basement!! Glad to see you got the app published and push notifications working, I downloaded and left review...as far as price I can't really help you there...but seems they need to pay at least for maintenance when they want to change specials and times? If they are happy with it maybe charge by the hour same rate as your design business? Minus learning curve...hope that helps a little...surgery Friday will keep u posted...cheers!! :)
