No Mac? Check This Out!

Came across this today...seems reasonably priced if you need a Mac for some quick code compiling and submission : http://www.macincloud.com/ Mark

Hi @CBreeze, From what I read, Xcode is, or could be, installed on the Mac you rent, and you would use DropBox to store your personal files. Mark

From their website : The basic configuration provides you all the tools needed to start developing apps right away in addition to basic Mac programs. We will arrange other software and tools according to your needs. In additional to local hard drive space, we allow cloud-based storage programs such as Dropbox. You will be able to synchronize and retrieve files on MacinCloud through such programs. So, it sounds like local hard drive, DropBox, and Xcode! Mark

I;m at a total loss using mac in cloud to compile my iphone app. Android seems simple to me - the process is pretty straight forward. However, when I run for my X Code file I uploaded from dropbox the simulator says, FIRST VIEW.Controler.h or SecondView.Controler.m. I'm not sure what that means or what to do??? Has anyone else used mac in cloud to compile their source code? If anyone has a link to a video showing what to do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I am trying to use macincloud to compile my iphone apps. The screen I get looks NOTHING like the one on the Buzztouch youtube training video. Here are a couple of links that will show what I see when I try to compile my iphone app. If anyone knows what I'm supposed to do next I will greatly appreciate any pointers I can get. Thanks, http://i1223.photobucket.com/albums/dd501/hrcroom/SNAG_Program-0001.png and http://i1223.photobucket.com/albums/dd501/hrcroom/SNAG_Program-0002.png I just don't understand what to do. Thanks for your help.

Hi @CBreeze, It looks to me like you tried to create a new project, instead of just, basically, importing the project files from Buzztouch. I would exit out of all that mess, and then just double-click on the <appname>.xcodeproj folder that you see when you download your source files from Buzztouch. That should launch all the correct files, and bring your project into the correct state. Let me know if that works! If not, we'll figure it out! Mark

Hi Mark, I'm just not able to get this to work. Do you or someone on the forum compile the iphone apps for a fee? this is really holding me back and I need to move forward. Thanks

Hi CBreeze, Contact me at MrkFleming at Gmail dot com and let's see what we can work out. If you have a macincloud account, perhaps I can get access? Mark
