Google Tv?

Any chance we could see a platform to build for Google TV? Just got my update (finally) and there aren't very many apps, I see this as a great opportunity for us all! Thanks for everything, you guys are awesome!!!

I was looking into google tv a while ago. The problem I have is that google tv plugins in eclipse are incompatible with my windows OS (xp). I don't know if it's compatible with later windows? The alternative is to install linux, seems to be compatible with that - unsurprising I guess.

Yea I read somewhere about linux but don't really want to dive into all that, anyone know of a workaround? Maybe something web-based?

Havn't looked into Google TV since the day it launched. And, on that day, hardly at all. It seems that the project is nearly dead (Logitech taking a huge loss this years, millions of dollars of unsold equipment). It's unlikely that we'll find any tiime to pursue this idea. Bummer for sure but doesn't look like a good use our limited time. There are some dated, but useful articles about developing for Google TV and it does look doable still. It's a matter of setting up an emulator with the right screen resolution I suppose. Not sure what else to add to this thread.
