Map tabbed Section

Hi everyone, I wanted to see if there was a way to make a map section that shows all the locations that I have entered into my application. I am making an app about my hometown and I wanted to see if I can make a map section where people can just look and see the various businesses and locations in my town without tapping on each menu list. Thanks for the help

Would this require geo-location and/or entering lat/long into the location's details? then somehow plotting that data onto the map? sounds like a very cool idea!

If your asking if you can make an app that displays pins for each lat/long that you have selected to be on the map then yes you can. Just use location services and add each address one by one as lat/long...

There is a limit of 5 pins, if you use the location entry in the screen setup; I have meaning to find put whether you can put in unlimited pins if you use the linked url

@ rgtichy: If you're using BT v1.5 you can feed the map locations from an external file (like a file you put on DropBox). In this case, there is no limit - necessarily. Keep in mind that you dont' want to ask iOS to display thousands and thousands of pins on one map, just doesn't work well in most cases. A few hundreds at a time is a good goal. Break maps into multiple maps if you have more than that. Theres a long but useful discussion here to: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=65181E4ADF97874B08E6D2B
