Needs to be on Linux, as per the instructions (LAMP). I did the same thing.

Yeah. That was what didn't work for me. Also couldn't package an app I made. My host was able to transfer to Linux.

Might get a more definitive answer from BT (Dave, Parker, etc). They were actually trying to get my installation on the windows box to work before I pretty much pulled the rug out from under them and moved over to Linux. You might not be dead in the water.

Hi guys, We would definitely someday love to (and most probably will) get buzztouch Server running fully in a windows environment, but right now we simply don't have the resources to do so. We are going to focus on (not necessarily in this order) having a stable release of BT-server for Linux, release and debug all of the plugins, Rework our buzztouch.com to support plugins, finish the v1.5 screens for android, finish building the new forums, create a new series of training videos, and probably a few other things, before we tackle getting our software running on a different platform. So that is our general plan, as deviating from that with all of the different, awesome, and reasonable requests that users make, could keep us sidetracked for years without ever having a reliably stable release. We love your requests and ideas, we just have to buckle down and focus sometimes on the things that aren't as fun because our resources are limited.

thanks Parker. totally understandable. I was always trying to find the right solution and at present buzztouch is not the perfect fit; for me. However i would not hesitate to recommend it, and will be using it to develop my own apps in the future. Given i am working in a commercial environment, they will pay for what i recommend so i will keep looking for the right balance between our own development needs and paying someone else to develop it.
