Problem after upgrade to 2.1.4

I'm receiving the following error after upgrading to 2.1.4 of the BT-server. Something Went Wrong. There was a problem parsing the JSON result? The steps I took to upgrade 1. ftp'd the source to the root level. It copied over the BT-Server directory. 2. Charmod the /file directory to 755 then later tried 777 3. ran install script and added the DB info 4. modified the Config file for DB information attempted to download the source and received the error Something Went Wrong. There was a problem parsing the JSON result? Any ideas on how to figure out what the issue may be? Thanks

The Json data passes the Validation test for the test app that is nothing but a simple Menu screen. It also fails in my other app that has all 20 plugins as a test I did before. 2.1.3 was running fine.... any ideas?

I reinstalled after blowing the BT-server directory away. I'm still getting that same error. Something Went Wrong. There was a problem parsing the JSON result? I removed everything including the Database. The application is just a menu simple menu screen with a background color that's it... JSON data validated just fine. Server is a LAMP configuration and was running fine under 2.1.2 and 2.1.3

Same results now with 2.1.2 and 2.1.3. So either i'm doing it wrong or something in the hosting environment is hosed up. I reset the hosting environment back to original settings via the control panel they provide. re-installed and same results. So I'm looking for someone who may be able to lend a hand and look at my install if possible on the free web hosting site i'm using. or provide me with some direction on what JSON data it's complaining about? anyone up for a challenge?
