Strange update glitch for a BT app

I've got a iOS app in the apple iTunes store (buzztouch v1.5) that I recently sent in an update. After the update was approved, I used my non-developer iphone (not linked to my dev account, just use it to test apps downloaded from the store only) and went into the updates tab. I found my app there, and after updating, the app didn't seem to change at all. I grabbed another device which had never had the app installed on (its nice to have several different devices, lol). I went straight to the iTunes store and found the app (which was listing the updated version) and downloaded it directly. On this device, all the changes were in place. Does this make sense at all? I'm sure if I delete the app and reinstall it, it should work. But why would the changes not show up after downloading the update?

Hi Stobe, My guess here would be that this has something to do with the BT_Config.txt file being out of sync on the device where the app is already installed. After you updated the app via the store and ran the app on the device, did it initialize with your old screens? And then did it say there was an update, refresh, and all your screens were as you expected? If that's the case, then I'm thinking the app must hit the old config file in cache first (with the old screens), figures out there is a new file, downloads it, and then refreshes. Mark

No, actually in the newer version I took out all reporting URLs so that it only has a local BT_config. After the update, it still shows the refresh button on the home screen, but it doesn't do anything. I'm guessing in my case that it is in fact using a cached BT_Config even after the update, which is a problem. Maybe I can submit another update, and change the name of the BT_Config file, and tell the xCode bundle to look for a different named file? Then all users should be on the same page.
