Streaming music stops when phone goes into Sleep Mode/Idle I'm currently streaming via Winamp on my own server but once the phone goes into idle it stops the music. Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi I think you have to add UIBackgroundModes in your infoplist. I make your app have multitasking mode on. / macki

I know is been a few months, but I still havent been able to find a fix for this. I created a player thru html5 jplayer and is linked via my app. Everthing works fine, except that once the app goes into idle/sleep mode the music stops and you have to unlock/turn the screen on and refresh the page for the player to continue playing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Pepetellez go to your info.plist file in your project. right click to add a new row. Type in under KEY = UIBackgroundModes and under Value = audio save and build. Here do have some more info about this https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/general/Reference/InfoPlistKeyReference/Articles/iPhoneOSKeys.html

I have Xcode4, I found info.plist but when I tried to add a building setting it automatically puts that setting under User-Defined Setting
