Menu with Image Icon size?

There is probably a standard size for icons, but I don't know what it is. Found something elsewhere that said 40x40px, but that looks so small. What is the size for Menu with Image icons? Is it adjustable? Thanks, Cheryl

Actually, I just took a look at my images. The bulk of them are 250 x 250. I have some that are smaller too. Now that I think about it, I created all of my images at 2041 x 2041 and reduced the size to look good in the rows. Dave

That's even better. I'll do the 250 x 250. Thanks again.

You really can use any size. On both the iOS and Android, there is code to "fit" them to the spot. 100 x 100 is what I have always used, but with the new higher resolution screens I think I would try 150 x 150. Run them through tinypng.org, so they are as small as possible in size. For Android, you may need to resize for the drawable folders.

Use a .png, and name them in all lower case with no special characters or spaces. That way your project will work on Android too.

My menu button images suddenly disappeared from an IOS app that is published and I cannot see in my BT control panel how to add the images again. I know I imported them into the Xcode project and they were there initially. Then one day, POOF! I don't know how to fix this issue since I cannot load images in the BT Core 3.0 control panel menu button with images plug in. Do I need to recompile and use the XIB storyboard approach or am I missing something?

RogueWave, you might want to start another thread with a title that pertains to the disappearance of your menu buttons. That way people that might be able to help you will see the subject and respond where they might not respond with it hidden in this thread. Hoping someone can help you.

That is a really strange problem. Are your icons on a url? Can you explain more about this comment, "I cannot see in my BT control panel how to add the images again"?

Hello Susan, No, the images are not on a URL. I originally uploaded the button images into my media image file in my self hosted control panel. The issue is I can no longer se the option to populate the button with the images I want. The menu with button images plug in used to have a way that you could individually select 100X100 png images that you want to reside in the menu buttons. I do not see that option in my self hosted control panel anymore. The images were in the app buttons when the app was published and after awhile, they simply vanished. I know I imported them into the Xcode project files for images because if I did not, they would not have made it to the "live" published version. I'm going to launch another version of the app soon, so, I can be careful not to miss a step going-forward. Did the option to select images for the buttons in the control panel go bye-bye with the V 3.0 upgrade. I know I have talked about this before but I have been away for some time.

No changes to the Menu with Image plugin. As always, you have to click on that row to modify the characteristics of that row. Each row in the menu is a link to the screen to modify the row characteristics. You will remember where to click when you look at it again. Now, I don't know what would have caused your images to disappear from your app. That is a different issue.

I'm sorry, I mean the menu with buttons. We used to be able to place images inside these buttons, right?

Do you mean the free plugin or the Menu Image Buttons I sell on the market?
