Was OK on previous release? Hmm? I looked at some notes and some files and didn't see anything that would cause this. Could it be that somehow the file permissions in /files folder got screwy? .PHP needs to have read/write/execute privs. in all /files and subdirectories. This is CHMOD 755 (recursively if you're updating it?) The update process should not overwrite that directory. Maybe try another plugin type, if you can't modify it after adding it to an app fur sure it's PHP not being able to execute in the /files/plugin dir.

I've been having a similar problem since I first installed plug-ins, always an error 500 when selecting a plug-in. I've ensured all of the files in the /files/plugin directory are set to 755, but I keep on getting error 500. Any ideas?

Hi in UK. Every plugin folder has an /index.php page. This is the page that loads when you click a link to manage a screens properties (after adding a screen to the app). This is the page that's giving your the 500 error. I have zero idea what else may be preventing a script from running in that folder. You could try to create a test script with echo test or something. Like a one line .PHP file. Plop it in some directories and see where it will and won't execute. It could also be that the directories themselves have 0755 but not the files inside them? Not sure, just know that error 500 (interneal server error) is PHP not executing files.
