Icon image doesn't show on simulator or device...

I have uploaded an icon image for my app successfully multiple times. I have even tried different images and resizing them to the exact suggested size of 72x72 yet when I push it to the simulator or onto my devices it just shows as a black square icon with the name underneath. I have another App on these devices and that icon is working fine. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Hi edwardsmj, You might want to try re-downloading your source code from buzztouch. Another thing to remember- Any time you add files to your project in the simulator a refresh will not add the files to your project. For the files to actually show up you will need to recompile the app.

Go to theme and set the botton size to 65 for four icons per row, Set the label color to something like Black, set the botton color to clear

I did re-download the source code and it still didn't work. Fred I am referring to the app icon on the device, not the buttons within the app.

Is your image jpeg? Was is simple error of not saving the icon? You do need to re-download the source code to change the app icon. (corrected) Re-compiling also is necessary to up date the App icon. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I think some else had same problem recently, search the Forum, not sure what the problem/solution was.

edwardsmj Are you able to refresh the app at all on the device or simulator? Change something else and see if the re-fresh is actually working or not. I had a similar problem in IOS and had to reset the simulator to get it to start taking re-fresh again.

The last post reminds, some time to get the icons to display after inserting and recompiling I have to make a change (I usually resort a button menu screen by chang ing the position of the last button from 16 to 17, I understand nothing really changed, but tell that to eclipse.) any change seems to work.
