App Rejected

I submitted an app on the 19th and got an email yesterday from Apple saying my app got rejected for being too marketing/business (2.13). My app had an about us, e-mail us, call us, share with friends, connect on facebook, twitter, linkedin, RSS feed of our blog, etc. I know it could of been done using a HTML5 site but I thought this would garner attention. While I am not going to complain, I have seen numerous apps with little to no functionality, and an app from a competitor who submitted a sample app i.e. all phone numbers, maps, address, e-mail us, contact us on the app point to his business - not the fake bar the app was named after. I just submitted my app 20 minutes ago and surprisingly it is already in review. I added a quiz so we will see what they say...

You can complain, we get it, nearly everyone in the forum is 'used to it' and that kinda the whole point. We're all in this together! You did good by adding a quiz and it will be great if they approve it. However, don't get totally discouraged with Apple when they reject over and over, it happens and there really is nothing you can do short of trying to keep a good attitude. Volumes and volumes have been written about this (all over the web) and for sure it's tought to understand. Keep your chin up, it'll work out eventually.

Apple is the worst when it comes to support for the app process, and submitting the app. Google's process is way more friendlier, even though they monitor the apps after the app has been submitted. With that in mind, I believe Google Marketplace in the future will be the place everyone, is going to first for app development. Apple should rethink there stringent rules for mobile apps. Good luck.

Yes, let us know what happens because I created the same kind of app for my company a few months back and it was rejected for the same reason. If it works let me know what kind of quiz you created so I can try again! Best of luck!

Well today iTunes Connect said Ready for Sale - so my app did get approved after adding a quiz. However, it is visible in the App Store, but I am unable to download it. I know it may take a few hours - but when I try a screen pops up saying The item you tried to buy is no longer available. Is this normal?
