If you have anything iOS download the TCNJ app. It was made by some students at the school. But click on the Campus Map and check that thing out... now, tell me how to do this lol. I have been searching all over the internets trying to figure something like this out and then came across this app and got excited that it's possible. I searched the forum before posting this, and I didn't find anything quite like this. I'm still searching but figured a post wouldn't hurt, if I find anything I'll post it here as I'm sure someone else here would also like to have this feature in their app! Also is this possible on Android as well?

Hi, maybe I'm wrong but it could have been done with google maps ground overlays. If you zoom in enough they disappear...

oh yeah, they disappeared from mine as well. if you're looking to set your map apart from the rest, you could try to restyle your map via: http://gmaps-samples-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/styledmaps/wizard/index.html then add the code to the style property as it says... haven't gotten around to trying it out yet but i'll prolly get to it this weekend.
