Please Help A Newbie

Hi all, I just created my 1st app and download both the i os compiler and the android eclipse compiler onto my windows 7 64 bit computer. I managed to download and extract but can't find the files to click in the folders they extracted to. I can see various folders but no files than say eclipse or x whatever for ios. Please help by emailing me at [email protected]. Thanks

Hi sirberk, First of all, you won't be able to do anything with iOS on your Windows 7 box. You need to be running Xcode, which only runs on an Intel-based Mac...something like a Mac mini will work just fine. For Android, open Eclipse, then do a File...Import, and select the entire folder as your project. Then the correct files will be loaded. There are also some videos on this site that should help out...please take some time to view them. Finally, to save time for other potential problems, please make sure your Android Development Environment is set up according to the steps in this document : http://btugwiki.com/index.php/Setting_Up_Android_Development_Environment Good luck!
