App development opportunity

I've been approached by a company who've seen one of my apps asking if I can build an app that customers can use to purchase from their range of skincare products. Their customers would use the app to select from a range of products on the phone and then place an order via a shopping cart using credit/debit card or Paypal. The company has a clinic in London and a distribution centre in Essex by the sound of it. The company are already trading on the internet and most of the product graphics /logos etc could be sourced from the existing website. Only a subset of the existing product range would be available on the app. I did ask about expectations around sales volumes on the iPhone but they don't really have any expectations around this yet. In the first instance the app would be trialled on iPhone/iPad (as a free app) and then, if the trial is successful, may be rolled out to other platforms including Android, although Blackberry was mentioned as well! I said that this is a bit out of my league at the moment at the skill level I'm at: a) Because I don't know how to set up a shopping cart and presumably it would have to link in somehow to their existing fulfilment system. b) Because I'm not ready yet to set up Buzztouch server on a resilient web host to provide the necessary level of service that this sort of app would entail. But, I said I do know some folks who might be able to take this on and I will ask them. So is there anyone in the BT community who feels that they could deliver on this? Ideally I think you would have to demonstrate that you've done something like this before. I would put you in touch with my contact and then duck out of the picture - though I would really love to know how to do this stuff at some point - I'm just not ready for it now. Regards Martin
