In Eclipse, try doing a project clean and updating the plugins in android sdk manager. Had a similar list of problems and this fixed them.

Same thing fixed mine, as well as making sure you build to the right thing

Guys, I went as far as reinstalling my eclipse thinking it was the issue. But when i reinstalled it and loaded an android source code from 1 1/2 months ago, that loaded up perfectly with no issues.when i load a newly downloaded coded it fails with errors. I think the build is my issue and dont know where to go. I continue to redownload the source code but doesnt fix my problem.

Have you updated the plugins in the Android sdk manager? Lots of changes recently. From your last post, it sounds like you haven't - Old source code + old plugins = ok. New source code + old plugins = not ok. Just a thought.
