buzztouch custom url screen is messing with my mobile website! :p

When I go into safari, the forum looks amazing and works properly: http://s9.postimage.org/ri3ziiu31/photo.png However, when I use the application which is simply ONE (custom url screen) it looks like this: http://s9.postimage.org/d7z0ks34d/photo_1.png Even some forums wont display posts, it's extremely weird that the forum is so messed up (css not working, ect) when used in a buzztouch app but not from safari, any suggestions? Thanks! You can download the app here: http://alturl.com/2biqo You can view it from your mobile safari here: http://alturl.com/nes8f Early thanks to anyone that can explain this or offer some advice/help - thanks!

iOS 1.5, and I mean MY forum (http://alturl.com/nes8f), not buzztouch, sorry, I suck at explaining things!

Will it not just be the case that the forum you are viewing is not optimized for mobile viewing?

No, it is optomized (see that it works in safari.app) here: http://s9.postimage.org/ri3ziiu31/photo.png But when the same link is viewed from the buzztouch app, it looks broken: http://s9.postimage.org/d7z0ks34d/photo_1.png

I did something similar in an Andriod app, works fine. Check your url, is there a better url you can use. Try same on different blogs, different types of sites.

I tried different combinations of the URL, the site simply does not want to work via buzz custom link, only via safari. I checked to make sure the link in the app was the same one I put in safari, it is. :(

Not sure what the issue is with your phone. I put this link in a custom url I've got on an app I'm building and it worked fine. http://forums.airbender.net/index.php?theme=34 See screen shots here: http://www.jc-evans.com/uploads/photo1.PNG http://www.jc-evans.com/uploads/photo2.PNG http://www.jc-evans.com/uploads/photo3.PNG

Whoa! Thanks for that extensive testing, I was hoping someone would download and/or try to put it in their app. That means that for some reason my own iphone is screwing it up on my end, why it would mess with the forum I still have no clue, but at least I know it won't look that way for other users. Ill keep this thread updated if I ever find out what the issue was that was causing this problem. Thanks fred, mac, and MGoBlue :) David.

I deleted my browser history. I uninstalled my application. I rebooted the phone. I re-installed the application. When I launched it, it looked perfect, which confirms that it was my phone messing with the forum inside of my buzz app (why my phone would mess with css/layouts within the app is beyond my comprehension!). Again, at least its only on my end, and it has been fixed. Thanks again mates, Happy developing! David.
