cryptography or does it contain or incorporate cryptography?

Hi thank you guys. As a newbie I managed to get the app archives and its ready to send to the app store. I filled in all the info and uploaded screenshots the works. Now it asks me Is your product designed to use cryptography or does it contain or incorporate cryptography? Do I say yes or no. My application is basically a app pointing to URL's of golf tournament leaderboards from across the wold. Thanks for the advice!

The answer should be NO. I guess this is military stuff like encrypted messages or so... Anyway my answer is always NO.

I asked Apple the very same question and got the answer (from a Sr. Export Compliance Specialist), that sending information over https is forcing the data to go through a secure channel from SSL, therefore it falls under the U.S. Government requirement for a CCATS review and approval. Note that it doesn't matter that Apple has already done this for their SSL implementation, but for the government, if you USE encryption that is the same (to them) as you would've coded it yourself. So basically if your APP is using SSL (HTTPS) links you could face Severe penalties by selecting NO. Its iffy stuff I guess.
