Um, like the Splash Screen in the control panel? Or something else? Maybe this is what you mean. a) You create a standard Splash Screen using the built in contorl. b) It asks for a single image to show, then animate away. But, you want a series of images to animate (move, transition, etc) and not the single image. This would not be tough to do. iOS uses a UIImageView to show the image in the built in Splash Screen. This UIImageView is being sent 'one image' from your configuration. This image usually comes from the project and not a URL to it loads faster. Have a look at the BT_screen_splash.m file to see how this is working. You could create your own splash screen class file then use a custom plugin, or, just hack-up the existing BT_screen_splash.m. The idea is that you will... a) Drag a series of images into Xcode. b) Create an array of UIImages holding a UIImage for each part of the animation. Each image is a different part of the animation. c) Instead of giving the UIImageView ONE image, you give it the list. iOS animates these images automatically becuase you gave it a list instead of one. This means the animation effect will depend on what the images are. This is usualy done in series of images that share a common background and are only slightly different than each other. When the animate (change quickly) it looks like you want. Imagine an old fashion deck-of-cards animation where the cards are quickly flipped through giving the feel that things are moving when really the only difference between each card is slight. Hey, I know this an old thread but did you have any luck in integrating an animated splash screen? A tutorial (and your opinions on the difficulty involved) would be great!
