Any way to pull Tab definitions from JSON child defniition on our server?

We're working on an app with highly dynamic content on the home page, we want the end users see the very latest content on the very first activation of the app after downloading. Based on Parker's suggestion in earlier thread, I changed our BT_config.txt defined system to draw from JSON formatted screen data files on our server. Sweet! Faster response too. But don't see a way to redefine the Tabs from a screen URL file. It looks like they can only be defined in the BT_config.txt file. Just checking if that is correct or if there is some other super Ninja BT trick for tabs.
