stupid question - where is the icon for the app in the android 1.5 compiled project?

can't seem to find it! weird! when uploading the apk in the market, it shows a black square, I re-uploaded the icon in buzz, recompiled, and re uploaded a new apk, same issue, wheres the icon located in the compiled project of a 1.5 android folder? thanks!

Hi David, In your v1.5 Android project download folder look in RES > ANIM > and then look for 3 folders named DRAWABLE-hdpi, -ldpi, -mdpi.

Close @Parker: Animation folder (anim) doens't hold icons, only animation layout files (currently unused). Icons are in /drawables (several different drawable folders, all should have the icon)

Thanks, this one particular app, whenever I upload the APK, android market makes the icon completely black, my other apps work fine (well out of around 20, three of those apps come out with black icons). I took a look at the folders, the icons are there and seem fine, no different from the others. I have tried to re-upload icons on buzz, recompile, eclipse, compile, and re-upload to the market - same exact issue - its bugging the crap out of me! what the hell is wrong! haha. Here are some screen shots: http://oi44.tinypic.com/3a41t.jpg http://oi41.tinypic.com/10wiko6.jpg any ideas? I will experiment more, but google searches are not helping much. Thanks a ton, David.

yeah, this is strange. Other than making sure the icon.png files exist in the /drawable folders when you compile, not sure what else to think. You could also check to make sure they show in the simulatos list of applications? If they show there they must be included in the project.
