How Do I submit my app to Android?

Hi, I'm a newbie who just got my app exported to my own computer. What is the next step? How do I send this app to an android phone or the android app store? thanks,

You have to download Eclipse, install all the proper extension. After you do that go to the link below https://market.android.com/publish/Home pay $25.00. Then export in Eclipse to APK and upload to the market place. That's the quick summary.

Hi CBreeze, If you haven't downloaded and installed Eclipse, you might want to start here: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

Thanks guys so much for the help. I just got my first app uploaded to android market place. I was never able to get Android 1.5 to work though. I had no problem with 1.4. It seemed to go smoothly. Has anyone else had a harder time with 1.5? Thanks, CBreeze

Congrats getting your first app published on the market. 1.5 does need some programming skills, I was able to upload an app in 1.5 but I did have to change some of the things to get it running properly. Its unfortunately trial and error with 1.5.
