Certain changes to app not showing

Since updatinf xcode and iOS I have been having screen refresh problem When I change a key characteristic such as nav bar colour or background color or image (in Bt folder Ready) it is not working on phone or simulator but if I add a screen or menu button it appears when I click the refresh button I stop the simulator and xcode and rerun but still no image or color change. Am I making a fundamental error or has Microsoft invaded the mac in bid for me to switch OS's

Applied a theme to app and mad it active now changes showing - do you need to apply a theme in 1.5 to make active changes ?

What I do is: Delete the BT_Images folder from XCode. When it prompts, I select remove references only. Then I drag it back into sidebar from Finder. (This solution is for images only)

Thanks Jake that's a great help. Hope is is going in your app world. I think we are in an industry that is collaborative and exciting. It reminds me of why there's more successes in learning from others than in just succeeding for oneself.
