Android/iOS Developer Needed. Payment for consultation and construction.

Hello all, I am currently an engineering student who has bagged himself an extended internship for this fall and the job I've been given is to construct a phone app for the company that does some not-to-complicated calculations. I've already started a shell for the app and I tried experimenting to see how I could do on my own but I know that custom calculating screens need to be done as Custom HTML screens in buzztouch. I have experience with code in general (Java) but I need someone who has more professional skill with developing using buzztouch and specifically with HTML screens. The calculation I would like to include in the app are no more than entering a few variables in and spitting out single values based on different formulas and I don't think it would be difficult for someone who is proficient at this. Definitely willing to pay for some help and hopefully someone out there in buzztouch land is interested for some extra holiday cash! If anyone is interested, please respond to this post or contact me directly at [email protected]. Thanks Thomas O'Brien

Seems like the best way to go about this would be to create an HTML page (not the Custom HTML page, which requires a trip to the BT Servers to download) with Javascript running the calculations. Overall that's pretty simple. I'd be willing to help you out a bit - MrkFleming at gmail dot com

No time to jump in but consider this....in the past I've done all sorts of cool javascript functions in the HTML that produce native looking, and behaving results. The trick is to get the CSS in the HTML to style the HTML form elements and buttons and results areas EXACTLY like iOS would do. I'm a crazy j-scripter and can happily help with the script part if anyone gets stuck. Step by step... a) Focus on getting the screens design, get the them to look exactly as you want. b) Add the javascript after the screens look right c) Connect the javascript functions to the html button clicks. d) Smile.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I have followed your steps David and I've gotten some basic I/O to work...but I'm a complete noob to using CSS and HTML (Web Design in general) but it's easy enough to pick up the basics. And Mark, I presume, I am going to try and play with this stuff for a bit longer to try and get up to speed a little more but I would definitely appreciate the offer for help. I switched over to just using the regular HTML page and I'm creating a primitive example of what I would like to incorporate in the app that I could possibly send over to you.
