Adding ads to an Android app = how hard is it?

So turning on iAds is simple to do. But if you have an Android app that you want to be a free app and still monetize it, you'll have to do some more legwork. How difficult is it to add Admob, Leadbolt, or any ad network into the app from Eclipse? Is this something that I may as well outsource?

How long's a piece of string? Some people find it easy, some find it hard. Admob has some good guides on here. Leadbolt have got good support. It's more the understanding of eclipse, javascript and app architecture that's the problem, rather than difficulty of integration.
