Help with receiving XCODE

I am very new to all this. I am creating an app for my company. I have completed all fields, but am having problems with getting the Xcode so I can complete the process and publish my APP. I have click the downloaded for the iPhone code and unzipped the zip drive and clicked on the note and then pasted that link into a new page, but then I've seen to find issues with the system from that point forward. HELP!

Hi @LuvSdSurf, Can you give us some indications of what exact issues you are having? And, you are doing all of this on an Intel-based Mac, correct? Mark

@LuvSdSurf - Not sure what you mean 'clicked on the note and then pasted that link into a new page'? Do you have the xcode program installed on your computer? As Mark said above, you need an intel-based Mac. You'll also need to purchase a developer account from Apple in order to publish to iTunes. If you have xcode installed, all you need to do to load and test your app is to double click on the file that ends in '.xcodeproj' That should launch xcode and load the app. Then you can run the app in the simulator and test it out.

Thank you guys for responding.. I actually didn't even know I needed to be on an intel. Yes I'm so very knew at all this ha! I Just looked at our Mac computer and it's an MAC OS X. It's a pretty old computer. I'm trying to download the xcode program. It keeps pointing me to this Lion program. Is anyone familiar with that?

OS X Lion is the latest version of the Mac OS. You don't NEED Lion to run Xcode and the SDK, but you'll at least need to use Snow Leopard, which is the version before Lion. Do you know what version you are currently using? Also...can you let us know which model of Mac you are using, so we can verify it's an Intel-based processor one? Mark
