Post non-market android apps on a website.

How can you post android apps on a website to directly download from an android device.

you can host the file on a server then go to http://qrcode.kaywa.com/ to generate a qr code from the website link for the app. Then a person can just scan the qr code to install it.

NOTE: add a line of text on your site to let people know that Unknown sources is checked under the Application section on the phones settings.

Yes, the app must be upload to the server for them to reach it. You can host it on a shared hosting server that you pay monthly for, or find a free hosting company to upload the file to. Where ever you host it at, the url (http://www.yoursitename.com/appname.apk must be publicly viewable.

Or your can post it (the APK file) to a dropbox account and make the file public or private. Example: http://db.tt/0RUcJsZK

You download the source code from buzztouch. You create the Andriod Project using Ecplise. You export the APK from Ecplise.

Have you created the project? Have you run the project on a Virtual Device?
