server v2.0.9 to v2.1.0 error

updated the same way as last time check for updates in system maintenance to check i was on v2.1.0 and got this This software needs to be updated Your server is running v2.0.9 and the most current version available is v2.1.0 Download the most current version from buzztouch.com then upload it to your website. You will be overwriting all directories and files EXCEPT the /files directory. After uploading the new version you will need to go through the installation process again. The installation URL will be http://www.yourdomain.com/BT-server/install/. The installation process will not overwrite existing values in your database or existing files in the files directory.

I'm confused. The check for update process checks the version you are running and compares it to the most recent version. If the version don't match it shows you the message with the red exlamation mark. This is by design, it's a way to show you that you're not running the most current version. Is there something else I'm missing? When you run the install process it will update the value of the 'current version' in your database. When you click the 'check for updates' link it compares this version with the version on our backend to see if they match. If they don't match you see the message you're describing. The message is just designed to draw attentiont to the fact that they don't match, nothing else.

Glad you like it ;-) I looked at the 2.1.0 update and it should be updating your database? Hmm... If have the fancy warning about version you mentioned above then for sure you are running 2.1.0 (it didn't exist in 2.0.9). Do this... Have a look at your database with phpMyAdmin or whatever you use...bt_config table holds all the settings data for the control panel. Look for the row where configKey = APP_CURRENT_VERSION and the configValue will show the version it thinks you're running. If it's wrong, update it to 2.1.0. Who knows, maybe the install processes didn't update the db? Not a big deal really, especially since these things are coming out so darned fast! Gonna slow down on the sever releases, no errors reported today - whoo hoo. Hacking out some plugins and need to figure out the andriod image scaling issues before getting too ahead of ourselves.
