remove refresh button

I would like my app to do location updates and to send user location and device information back to buzztouch to populate the usage map. I do not want the app to look for updates or to have the refresh icon on the home screen. How do I do this?? Eventually I want to send the data to my own database and populate my own map, but baby steps. Thanks!

Never mind, I figured it out. Just played around with the BT_viewUtilities.m file.

I believe also just deleting the URL listed in your apps 'Core Properties > Configuration Data URL' would do the trick as well.
