Just finished making a Physical Education app for android on buzztouch (brilliant set up by the way guys, thanks so much) and published it on the android market. Now I want to make an app for the iphone and ipad, but I have a PC and I'm on Windows XP. Do I need a Mac or can I just download xCode and go from there? All help much appreciated!! Since the iPhone, iPad, and even Xcode itself were all created by Apple they will only work on a mac. If money is an issue you may try purchasing a mac mini. Although there is still a lot to learn the Mac is just more straightforward. Once up and running you can download a 1.5 app to either system on a mac. There is something about a Mac that unitentionally makes you a bit smug about things, I dont know why but I would liken to buying a car that rarely breaks down and is nice to drive. You can still act like a plonker during the journey butleast you know you are going to get there.
