You'll need to let us know exactly what sort of errors you are getting so we can help you! Please report the actual error messages. And, sometimes what you are seeing is warnings, and not errors, which are OK. Mark

So under screen_locationmap.java it has a red X by the following: Screen_location MylocationsOverlay MapOverlays Mymap myPoints getpoint(double, double) isrouteDisplay onCreateBundle onDestroy onPause OnprepareOptionsMenu(menu) OnResume onStart onStop parseData RemoveLocation setMapboundstoPois ShowALert(string, String) ShowDirection ShowINfo ShowLocationBubble(string.String,String) ShowMapPins ShowMapType ShowMoreDetail ShowProgress(string,String)

Hi cougarvb, It looks like you need to install Google maps. Try the links provided here: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=A007585DE1C4694EA5B4D2A

See the README.txt file for instructions about using maps in v1.4. You'll need to follow those exactly.

I went through this too, followed everything to a T, couldn't figure out why I was still getting the errors. Turns out the solution was restarting Eclipse :P

@ adpjavier: Eclipse is famously clunkey (sorry Eclipse devs, it just is)... There have been countless times I've spent hours and hours on things that just didn't seem right and restarting fixed it. You'll see on the forums alot how Xcode just 'works' and Eclipse just 'doesnt' About all we can say is that's just kinda part of it. Eclispe is code-text-vanilla boring for sure and totally built for developers. Xcode is pretty, slick, reliable (mostly) and feels built for designers. The good news is that we (you and us) really only use these tools to compile and once you get the compiling process down it gets much easier and far faster.

Very true David! I'm about to tackle installing Xcode tomorrow, hoping it'll go favorably. I would like to say that you and the Buzztouch team have done an awesome job! I can't believe I'm almost there with my first app, having pretty much no programming experience. I just know how to make things look nice haha!
