Hi @mikejoll4, You only need to worry about installing BT Server 2.0 if you are wanting to host your own, locally managed Buzztouch server. I'm assuming (I don't know for sure since I don't work for BT) that if you don't, BT v1.5 will continue to be available for everyone to use, but perhaps at a small cost. If you do want to host your own, you'll need, in addition to the domain name you have, an actual hosted server from somewhere like Host Gator or ProHosters. In essence, you need your own web server to make it work...more than just a domain name or a local laptop. There are numerous mentions in the forum of places to sign up. Good luck! Mark

@ mikejoll4, GoNorthWest is right. There's two parts to hosting a server - the domain name and the hosting provider. In some cases, people might use godaddy for both (though for most cases, I would not recommend that). I'll be releasing some information later tonight about specialized hosting services I can provide (for a reasonable price) which will be geared towards either hosting a BuzzTouch server, or simply hosting app-data for apps that require remotely hosted data. In the meantime if you have any question or are anxious to get something setup, you can email me at qpapps @ gmail.com Hope that helps.

Stobe, I am beginning to research how to disconnect from the control panel also. I dont feel right loading up the BT server with all my data and down the road plan to disconnet...I think. When you say above that you wouldn't recommend using godaddy for both I was wondering why? Basically I also have a godaddy domain name...although I am not hung up on keeping it...but I dont know what to do next. Wether to buy hosting service or get my own set up. Any simplifed advice you or anyone can give in the form of steps like 1. Do this first. 2. Do that this next. etc.. will help me research and move ahead. I appreciate any advice folks are willing to share. Heck...maybe I shoulnd even be thinking of disconnecting. Still not sure what the pros and cons are.
