BT Server - One more issue fixed

Error free now! yay! Had a warning in the header when logging in and while the page was waiting to redirect: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/me/public_html/mywebsite.com/includes/class.Page.php:369) in /home/me/public_html/mywebsite.com/index.php on line 106 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/me/public_html/mywebsite.com/includes/class.Page.php:369) in /home/me/public_html/mywebsite.com/index.php on line 107 Easy fix, lots of white space after the closing php tag in class.Page.php. Removed the white space and now it's fine. Also removed loads of white space in index.php too, just in case...

Is it the same php file causing the error? May be a different file. Also, there may be white space right at the start too. Have you removed all the white space, so the cursor is right up to the closing > and there is nothing after it?

Removed tons of white-space from class.Page.php as @ raveyd suggested. Download is still 2.0.7 but tiny little things are found / fixed literally by the hour ;-) Applause to all, your efforts are awesome.

fresh install. this error comes up {result:invalid, message:serverError, fromDavid:Have a look at line 68 config.php in the root of your install, the software is having trouble with your database settings} This was received before db settings were asked for. Any suggestions.

On the install process? What step? Or, on another screen? That message is included in config.php when no database can be found with the given name. Where it gets the name depends on where you are. During the install process the db name comes from the form you fill out. After that it comes from the bt_config table. All the values in that table are turned into PHP constants. There was another report earlier (just fixed and updated download server again) about php yelling about setting constants that were already set. Added an 'if not set' statement in config.php's routine. Without knowing more about where you are it's tough to say why the db can't be found. It boils down to ... a) Address bar: What's show, literally the folder/filename at the end when you see this error b) Uncomment line 72 in the config.php file so it prints the actual error and not the friendly message.

Hey David, here is more info. It is happening on the install process. Doesn't go any further. a) http://intregeinc.com/mobiledev/ (it happens right at index.php) b) just tried to uncommented the line and it shows {result:invalid, message:serverError, fromDavid:Have a look at line 68 config.php in the root of your install, the software is having trouble with your database settings}There was a problem connecting to the mySQL instance at Access denied for user 'gerrell'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

Ok, this makes sense - sort of. The URL you posted is not the install directory. I see the message. http://intregeinc.com/mobiledev/install does not show the message, as expected. The index.php page that loads at http://intregeinc.com/mobiledev/ DOES use the config.php file. The install process does NOT use the config.php file. This means the config.php file does not have the proper values entered in the database login settings. If you did go through the install process (at /install) you would see the little image and note about having to change the config.php file when you're done installing. You need to enter the proper values on line 28, 29, 30, 31 of config.php so it knows how to connect to your database. The message suggests that for whatever reason the user / db name / server combo you entered for your db (in config.php on 28, 29, 30, 31) are not valid. You probbaly think they are and I can't speak to why their not. I can just say that it's obvious that config.php cannot connect to your database. I would go through the install process, making sure to enter the proper db connection info, change the config.php as described, then see what happens.
