IOS iPad - Fullscreen menu loading content next to it?

Hi BuzzTouchers I building a math encyclopaedia for my math students, and I've found out the best way not to loose your orientation is to have a menu on the left side of the screen loading content in the right side. (the menu about 1/3 of the screen and the content 2/3). Is that possible? I know it wouldn't work on an iPhone, but that's ok. It's for the iPad. If it's not possible to divide the screen does anyone have another idea? I don't think the fullscreen (text) menu is working on an iPad. Or is it just me who is too much of a rookie designer. Thanks, Michael Back 9. grade math teacher in Denmark, Europe

Yeah, this sounds cool. Kinda like the way the Notes app works on the iPad. I'd like to learn how as well!

You could probably do it using custom html and css. Here's an example: http://matthewjamestaylor.com/blog/ipad-layout-with-landscape-portrait-modes Try googling ipad css. Maybe you can find something that will work.

Hi MGoBlue. Thanks. That looks good. Maybe I can load that HTML as the first screen, but then the BuzzTouch build-in menu is out of question. Hmm. Ok, I must admit I'm really new at this. (I have only some experience with Flash actions script, but that's out the window the day I got my iPad. ) Michael
