IOS App Launch Question

I have a BT IOS v1.5 app nearing completion. I would like to do the following. I would like to Launch another application from within my application. How is that done? I tried to contact the developer of the application but getting no response. His is a paid app and I would most likely make it a requirment to have his app also. My application is a commercial enterprise application for our company. We are willing to purchase his app for each of the installs we do of our own. So it's money in his pocket... I'm talking about 1000's of installs.... But he is unresponsive. Is it possible to lauch other aplications from your own app based on the name of the app somehow. I'm assuming he has no API for the program to allow this.( he would have no reason to). I was hoping to give him a reason. I hoped $5.00 an app would be incentive enough... 10,000 installs at 5.00 a pop.... Nice cash for doing nothing.... Example would be I download any old app from the app store and want to start it from within my app... Any native capabilities for that with IOS v1.5 I may have asked this question before but I'm getting old..... Thanks

Hi gbakakos, I believe you did ask this before, but we didn't get back to you yet. Did a google search and came up with this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/419119/launch-an-app-from-within-another-iphone

Looks like the only way is by using a registered url that the developer would need to have established. Bummer.... He wont respond.... Oh well.... Guess I can hire another programer to write what we need. Just would have been so much easier and $$ in his pocket.... for doing nothing.... Thanks
