Rejection issue

Hi folks, I recently submitted an app to apple for review. Essentially the app links to a pdf stored online that I update daily, using the pdf doc plugin and displays the pf to screen. This app worked fine in the Xcode simualtor for all iOS versions and devices. However it was rejected by apple for not actually loading anything once the start button has been pressed. I simply cannot replicate this apparent bug that they claim is present in iOS 9.1. From the sounds of things, the pdf online is never being loaded. Problem is that it works fine in my iOS simulator. I even exported the app as an ad-hoc deployment and still cannot reproduce this apparent bug. Has anyone come across such an issue, perhaps with pdf doc and ios 9.1? Thank you Graham

Do reset of the simulator to be sure you can actually read the online files.

I'll give it a go. However I have tried exporting the app as an ad-hoc development .ipa file for all devices, uploaded said .ipa file into iTunes, and put it on an iOS 9.1 iPad and iPhone and they both no problem. Im assuming this is no more than what the app testers themselves do? I can try making device-specific ad-hoc files and see if they produce the bug Reset the simulator and it all worked fine :/ Any other ideas on what the problem might?

Maybe just a moment glitch. Just submit it again for review.

I might do. Only thing is that this is the 2nd time its been rejected for the same issue. Im inclined to think either the second time it was submitted something went wrong and the more updated version didnt upload through xcode. I night try the application uploader and try upload the working ipa file that way. That might work...

If all your app does is link to a pdf file I'd be very surprised if it gets approved whether the link works or not. I'm hoping there is more to it than that?

The pdf is updated daily, akin to a fact of the day type app with a user defined internal notification
