Migrate from Buzztouch.com 2.0 App to Self Hosted 2.0 App

Hi All, Is it possible to migrate an app from Buzztouch.com (V2.0) to a Self Hosted Server (V2.0)? Thanks, Jake

The "easiest" way would be to get a SQL dump from BT to import in your self hosted database. But I've never seen this offered, and am not sure if its even possible (I'm just guessing that the db structure for both are similar enough)

But, is it possible to move the BT_Config.txt into the new server and have it read it and load it into a new app?

No, you cannot reverse the process from BT_config.txt to database entries.

@Jake - rebuild it my friend. What I have found to make it easier is load up self hosted and your current app in the control pan side by side. Then go to town and recreate your screens and build your app on your server. Trust me its time consuming, but if I can recreate 800 screens in 2 days anyone can. Yes 800 screens! Just my thoughts. @magic, sadly, I had to do this too many times! David http://buzztouchmods.com
