I have tried using the instructions for changing v1.5 apps to v2.0, I always come to the last stage but its doesn't run on the sim. or my device. I don't mind recreating 4 applications of mine again with v2.0 again.... My query is will i be able to send the new Xcode project as an update to an app that already exists in the store which belongs to a different Xcode project or is there a simpler way to solve the problem of the run problem.

I did not know it was even possible to convert 1.5 apps to v 2.0. I have ver 1.5 app with hundreds of screens that I finally recreated as a v 2.0 app from scratch this month. As long as the package name is the same you can submit it as an update without any problems. Josh

It works great on my phone and I successfully updated it to iTunes but it is still waiting for review.

That sounds good enough .... What did you do with the older version on your phone did you delete it off or do you still have not on your phone?

I kept it on my phone while I was making the 2.0 app to make sure they were the same, then I deleted it.

okay... and did you rename it and change the bundle identifier etc till you got to itunesconnect?

HI ALL! very interesting dissection. did you think the same meted work for android? i have buzztouch v1.4 android if recreated as a v 2.0 Android app from scratch if the package name is the same do you think it will allow me to submit it as an update? b/c i have more than 15,000 download i am rely worry withe new name & new app i don't think all of them will be re-download my app .
