Hi MilanDiavolo, Welcome. Since you just joined today, you'll probably want to spend a whole bunch of time in the 'Help' section, and on this forum. Reading the Documentation is also a good idea. Also in the 'Help' section you see links to the Android Developer website, which has a lot of walkthrough tutorials. For example this one: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html Follow that for eclipse installation and setup. Get the 'Hello World' test app running first before you try to load your app. It usually cuts down on any issues that may arise.

Hi parker, thanks, but I've already downloaded the 2.1 and 4.0 api, but when i upload the app it says there are things wrong, one of them naming the api 4 or something, that is the android 1.6, i went to sdk manager to download it (still dowloading) so, that hello world could help to solve the problems too? where i can dowload and how do i run it on eclipse? thanks!

If you're creating a v1.4 Android app, we recommend Googles 1.6 API. I would suggest following the directions for setup at the link I posted in the post above. There are instructions for setting up the 'Hello World' test app within that link.

Done installing, I can see my app now on the AVD, but, I've 2 questions now: 1. If I want/need to change anything of the configurations, It's necessary to re-download the code? 2. Its supposed I've to do this process for encoding it, right? so, Where's my apk?

1. Depends on what you mean by changing the configuration. If you are just making changes to the control panel then you should be able yo just refresh your already running app. If you are trying to add custom code or embedded files then you will need to re-compile. 2. You will get your .apk file after compiling. See: http://developer.android.com/guide/publishing/publishing_overview.html

Now I see, thanks but I cant still understand the thing abt the .apk , it says I could upload it somewhere else, like in another market, so it means i should have the .apk or the .com for me, like, let me explain, for now, I just want to install it in my phone, and I've no idea of how!

You can put the APK file anywhere online, surf over to it with your phone, and install it from there. Easy way would be to create a DropBox (http://db.tt/TCxVvk8) account, put it in the public folder, get the link, surf over, and install it! Easy peasy!

You now understand the importance of testing on a real device! Keep working at it...the great thing about a BT app is that you can make changes and do a refresh, and things will show up (assuming you link them to online resources). In an event, it's super important to test your program on a real device to make sure it operates the way you intend. Good luck!

Depends on the device I would guess. If it scales the image (smaller to larger), and the image doesn't look good at the larger size, then it would get blurry and nasty. If you can create an image for the larger device, and have it scaled down (with proportions intact), then it would probably look good. Images can be tricky because of what various devices do to them. I only really have experience with iPhone and iPad, and the dimensions of the screen are well know.
