iAds and In App Purchase Help!

So I submitted my application in the app store and now waiting for approval. I was wondering how I can include iAds in my app but also include an option for in app purchase if the users would like to remove the ads. Is this possible? I plan to change my app from paid to free if this is possible. Please help thanks

Hi iamjimm, Just an idea but, lots of users will have two separate versions of their app. One paid without ads, and the other free with ads. This would also allow you t have extra contend in your paid app.

So what is the process in doing this? Do I just change the name and add the iAds and re submit or how does it work? I thought Apple has a policy where the app cannot be similar

There are tons of apps out there with both a free and paid version. I believe Apple just doesn't want people abusing their app store by creating dozens of similar apps with just a different theme, or team, or location, or brand, etc. I would create a second new app so you could easily adjust either one as you saw fit. The only difference could be the iAds and a free download. It's all up to you, and the individual reviewing your app at Apple.
