BTServer logged in session ended

I just installed the BT Server 2.0. I got through the install process, but when I first go to login, it takes me to a screen that says login successful - redirecting, and then about 3 seconds later forwards me to a screen that says the logged in session ended and gives me the login fields again. Anyone else have this problem?

Hmm...the session management isn't super complex so this should be easy to figure out. The name of the Cookie that gets set is unique to your installation. A cookie is set, a session is started. At the top of every screen the PHP code looks for the value of a variable called $guid. It looks for a cookie with this value. If no cookie set, no value is present, user gets logged out. Not sure how else to explain it. Maybe you guys can determine if a cookie is NOT being set? It relies on this for sure. If you can't get a solution worked out we'll need to totally re-think how the login session is tracked.

i checked my browser and it has a cookie for my domain. I cleared it and started the login again with the same result. Maybe I'll try another browser (using safari currently)

I just tried firefox, and now I can see a quick error flash before timing out. It goes by so quick that I can't read it all, but it contains: 'cannot modify header information - headers already sent by output started at /home/mydomain/public_html/' (and thats all I can see so far)

AH, perfect! GOOD progress. What is the /url to the file you see this quick message on? Some PHP installs are famous for not being able to suppress that warning. Whats' the file, I'll get a look.

All this logic takes place in config.php in the root of the project. Look at the note at the end of that file. There cannot be ANY white space, not even a carriage return or tab after the last closing php tag.

I did a fresh install of 2.0.4, and I'm getting stuck at the same spot. I tried multiple computers/browsers to make sure it wasn't a cookie problem. Maybe something wrong with my host? Here are the errors I'm getting at the top of the browser when the login fails (times out) Notice: Undefined index: logOut in /home/mydomain/public_html/BTserver/index.php on line 10 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/mydomain/public_html/BTserver/index.php:10) in /home/mydomain/public_html/BTserver/index.php on line 19
